A.S.K. the Lord

The world around is becoming so scary and pathetic. Daily the number of people infected and affected is increasing. Many people in the families of the near and dear ones are getting affected by this disease. In good old days before Corona, when we catch a cold or fever, our family members used to take care of us. They used to serve us physically in many ways to give relief to us. But now they cannot even touch us. They are now scared to even touch us. If some people dare to do something, we cannot let them do because this disease will immediately affect them.

In these difficult situations, being the believers of Lord Jesus Christ, we have a comforting word in this troublesome time,

Ask, and it shall be given unto you; Seek, and you shall find; Knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

Mathew -7:7

Generally, in our daily life, when we are in need, we ask our known people for help. If we are in any trouble, we seek a helping hand from anyone. If we are in desperate need of anything, we will knock the doors of neighbors, friends, and anyone based on our situations. But there is no guarantee that we receive whatever we need.

But today the God is telling us to Ask, Seek, and Knock at the Lord. But whom he was teaching these words? When Lord started his Galilee ministry, many people came to him, who are suffering from various diseases and evil spirits. For those people, Lord taught these words on the Mount. We know this context very well, as the sermon on the Mount. The audience here was both disciples and the people who believed him and came to him for deliverance.

Today if you come to him by believing him, this word is a promise for you. This promise will be fulfilled in your life. Around us, we see a few people. They believe in the Lord, but they don’t come to him. They will first try with their ways to resolve their issues. They will try to get help from the people whom they know. Some other people come to the Lord but will not believe in the power of the word of God. For them, they cannot experience fulfillment.

God today is reminding us that, whoever comes to God, must believe that He is existing, and he is the rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Hebrew 11:6

God today reminding about His love. When we look at ourselves, we are wicked and sinful. But, when our children ask anything, we will give them the best possible. But when we look at God, He is holy and mighty. He is the creator, how much good things he gives to them, that ask Him?

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Mathew 7:11

If you are a child of God, don’t hesitate to A.S.K the Lord. Do you know what is A. S. K? Ask. Seek. Knock.

Dear loving heavenly Father, thank you for your wonderful love. You gave your only begotten Son, to receive us. You sacrificed Him, on the cross, to save us. You loved us when we were still sinners. You sent your gospel and created faith in us and made us to be born again. All these things you did because of your eternal love towards us. We thank you for that Lord. Now, enable us to depend on you in our troublesome times. Teach us to ask you, seek you and knock at your door. We pray in the name of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ, Amen!
